Our weekly meetings continue with a conference about the importance of access to quality language services.
In a country like ours, where migratory movements are increasingly frequent and decisive for the cultural enrichment of our society, the flow of people with different languages and cultures states new questions about intercultural communication and suggests the need to assist the migrant population in their adaptation process, which involves eliminating the linguistic barriers that restrict such basic rights as the right to health, among others.
If you want to find out more about the work of translation and intercultural mediation professionals in multilingual and multicultural situations, you may be interested in this workshop.
