The Orihuela Costa Town Hall will be hosting an informative talk on Monday the 28th of September at 10:30 AM for UK nationals who live in Spain, and who therefore need to apply for residency before the end transition period on December 31st.

This informative talk, the result of collaboration between Asociación Babelia and the Department of International Residents of the Orihuela Costa Town Hall with the support of the Department of Statistics (Padrón), is part of our efforts to inform and guide UK nationals within the framework of a project conducted by the British Government on a higher scale, giving support to those who live in EU countries to apply for residency so as to keep their rights protected after the transition periode.

The Asociación Intercultural Babelia has received grant funding from the British Government to provide UK nationals with practical support, mainly in the province of Alicante but in Valencia and Castellón as well, to those who wish to apply for residency in Spain and are experiencing greater difficulties with the procedure; whether it is due to the language barrier, the use of new technologies or a disability of some sort.

After the informative meeting, and provided you have an appointment beforehand and bring the necessary documentation, we will offer individualised and direct assistance to those who are in need of closer support to apply for residency.

For those of you who are interested in attending this meeting or receiving individual assistance, please confirm by sending an email with your full name and phone number to residentes@orihuela.es.

For those who have difficulties with communicating by email, you can call the following number: +34 669 68 59 61.

Due to current Covid 19 restrictions the number of attendees is limited, masks must be worn at all times and social distancing must be observed.
