Pangea Office

PANGEA, Assistance Office for Migrants, is an initiative of the Immigration Councillorship within the Town Hall of Alicante to provide support, information and advice to the migrant population residing in the city of Alicante.

¿WHAT DO WE DO?

• Provide information to migrants.
• Provide information and advice to professionals and migrants’ associations on topics related to immigration, interculturality, and culture.
• Foster the integration of the migrant population.

¿HOW?

By means of:

1. Personalized attention and information to foreigners without an appointment (education and training, employment, legal guarantee, creating an association, health).
2. Linguistic mediation in Arabic, French, English and Russian between migrants and professionals from the public entities with a prior appointment.
3. Group activities such as Welcome School for Foreigners, Spanish language classes…
4. Advice and support to professionals on workshop design dealing with topics such as immigration law, culture, immigration and interculturality with a prior appointment.
5. Advice in areas such as immigration law and Spanish citizenship.
