For the last two years, Asociación Babelia has been providing advice and guidance to UK nationals and their family members with the process of applying for residency in Spain. Over 85.000 individuals accessed our services through different channels, among these, almost 4.000 benefited from the direct assistance and close support of a caseworker.
Our association covered the provinces of Alicante, Valencia and Castellón, along with our fellow organisations Age in Spain and IOM covering other areas of Spain as seen on the map below.
As the UK Nationals Support Programme for residency entered its winding down period on the 1st of January 2022 to end on the 31st of March 2022, we will unfortunately no longer be able to continue providing this specific kind of support. However, if you still need advice and assistance with the process, you may want to take a look at our article with several sources you can contact for help with applying for residency and other procedures:
Who can I contact for further guidance with residency?
For detailed tutorials and information, you can find all of our posts on this link, but below you will find an index of all of the articles and guides we have posted so that you can easily find any specific topics you may be looking for.
We want to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has been involved in this project. The UK Nationals Support Program funded by the British Government allowed us to support thousands of UK nationals and their family members in need of assistance with residency in Spain. During this project, we had the great chance to work closely with the British Embassy in Madrid and the British Consulate in Alicante under the coordination of the Program Manager at the FCDO in London, we are sincerely grateful to all of them for their hard work, their know-how, and the support they provided to our team. We also collaborated with local town halls, Immigration Offices and the National Police in addition to British and Spanish charities.
We finally want to thank those who put their trust in us to assist them with the challenging process of obtaining residency as well as with other procedures. It has been a pleasure to help you through these difficult times, we hope the sources of information below provide you the guidance you may still need.
